Our Excellent Staff
Dr. Patterson is a graduate of The Ohio State University, College of Optometry and has been in private practice since 1981. He is a member of The Ohio Optometric Association and The American Optometric Association. He is a retired Colonel from the Air National Guard.
Dr. Patterson is interested in Diabetic Retinopathy and Glaucoma management. He provides post operative care of cataract and refractive surgeries as well as fitting of all types of contact lenses.
Dr. Patterson is an active member of the Ashland Church of Christ and has completed 14 VOSH/Lions volunteer eyecare missions. For enjoyment he prefers fishing and traveling with his wife Pam as well as spending time with his son Matthew and daughter Beatrice.
Dr. Denbow is a graduate of The Ohio State University and has been in practice since 1993. He is a member of the Ohio Optometric Association and The American Optometric Association.
Dr. Denbow is interested in the management of Diabetic Retinopathy and Glaucoma as well as comanaging the pre and post operative care of his cataract and refractive patients. Dr. Denbow participates in the National Infant See Program and particularly enjoys the fitting of all types of contact lenses including toric, multi-focal and hybrid lenses.
Dr. Denbow is an active member of Trinity Lutheran Church and enjoys all sports including golf and basketball but mostly enjoys traveling with his wife, Susan and taking part in his sons, Grant, Garrett and Luke's sporting events.
Dr. Buckley is a graduate of the Class of 2020 from the Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago. She serves as her class representative and received Colleague of the Year and the Philip E. Wells Trust Award during her last year at ICO. She is a member of The Ohio Optometric Association and The American Optometric Association.
Dr. Buckley is interested in dry eye, glaucoma management, sports vision and contact lenses. She provided vision care in Jamaica during her third year at school with SVOSH and hopes to attend more mission trips in the years coming. She provides pre and post operative care for cataract and refractive patients. She enjoys patients of all ages.
Dr. Buckley is from Elyria, OH and attended Ashland University, playing softball from 2012-2016. She enjoys running, traveling, attending Cleveland Indians games, spending time with her family and friends and playing with her cat, Denver and her dog, Maple.
Dr. Rita Schrock graduated magna cum laude from The Ohio State University College of Optometry. She has been in practice since 1993. As a member of the College of Optometrists in Vision Development (COVD), Dr. Schrock's professional interests include an emphasis on vision therapy for the purpose of developing children's visual skills so they may perform at their maximum potential. Dr. Schrock has pursued advanced training in binocular conditions and visual information processing disorders that interfere with reading and learning and has received over 100 hours of special training from the Insight Vision Center based in California. She is also a participant in the Infant See Program.
Dr. Schrock, along with her husband Von are active members of Oak Grove Mennonite Church. She enjoys water skiing, scuba diving, playing piano and spending time with their four adult children and two grandsons.
